head

So, you backup your original xbox 360 games, of courser, and have a couple of Isos, you still want to go on Live and don’t get banned?, after all you are using backups of your expensive xbox 360 games, that you dont want to damage?.

For checking my Isos I use 2 applications. ABGX360 and XDVDMulleter.

I wont post where to find this application, If you manage to get or have and Xbox 360 iso, you will not no problems finding this.

I first use ABGX360, this are screenshots of my settings:

Well I like both. They are just options and how to use them.
You can stay with one if you like. I just like to be sure, thats all.

    Check this post
    http://techfatale.wordpress.com/2008/12/27/abgx360-update-your-ini-file/
If that dont help, then the game is not on the database, or you are doing something wrong.

Hum, I only have experience with NTSC games. So I dont know if I can help you.
Have you tried running mulleter first? And then ABGX, maybe that will help.
Also, could it be that maybe a firewall is blocking abgx? or something like that?

yeah i tried mulleter and it says cant load/find the ini file. dont think i have a firewall issue because i used abgx to fix/check prine of persia which was also giving me the same prob in mulleter.

Mulleter just gives me a failed to initialize properly error. Is it a Vista only app?

Could it be that you dont have the .NET Framework? Is not an only Vista APP

Guys about the missing .ini. I had the same this for the real scene release of GOW2, it’s because the game is so new, it’s not in abgx’s db. You can even check out the nfo, it has the same failed to find .ini message. It’s a little unclear, but running a Level 3 autofix works!

But that going safe on xbox live thing is only if your xbox is flashed with the Ixtreme firmware.
If my xbox is flashed with Xtreme 5.*** firmware,it doesn’t matter if your games are stealthpatched or not.You will get banned if you go on live.
    Am i right?

Ok so i did what you said and this is what it said for me, “Video Partition does not match known data” What does that mean?

Also if i just have it read directly to the game it says media too small for Xbox game

Of course that you have to have Ixtreme without IXtreme i doubt that the game will actually load
    Rick.
You probably have a bad rip, where did you get it from?

Rick, sorry i thought you were talking to someone called rick.Lol my mistake.
Well i have to say all the stealth patched games i have are loading just fine in my
Xtreme 5 flashed xbox 360.I am just wondering if i will get banned immediately no matter what.
Or is it just so that the Xtreme firmware i just less safer than the Ixtreme firmware.

I have been playing online for over 4 years now without any bans at all. (Check my xbox profile if you don’t believe)
If you are careful, and do not do anything stupid like playing games online before they release.
And only playing games that check correctly, and you are up to date on the latest news about bans or releases(xbox-scene). I doubt that you will have any problems. Have fun with the thing. if you always plays with worries that you are getting banned, then its not fun at all.

Pixel16,If you say so,who am i to disbelieve you. What do you mean by games that check correctly?
That the games are stealthpatched? If thats what you mean,it counts only for xbox360’s patched with the Ixtreme firmware i think.Mine has the Extreme firmware.I asume your’s has the Ixtreme.
The gut who flased my xbox said that whenever i go online,i will definitely get banned.

Check Correctly means, using programs like ABGX360 or mulleter to know that the game actually is stealth patched and that all the size and data validation is correct. And you are right it only counts for Ixtreme firmware, never heard of Extreme firmware before.
You should go and flash your reader with the latest Ixtreme, its pretty easy and there are tons of guides and videos on the web on how to do it.

The difference betweeen Xtreme firmware and Ixtreme firmware is that Xtreme supports DVD5 and Ixtreme not.Xtreme also supports non patched games while Ixtreme does not.Meaning if your games are not stealth patched, your xbox with the Ixtreme firmware will not play them.
But Ixtreme is offcourse safe online and Xtreme is not. That’s what i know about the 2 firmwares.
